The AMX A-1A is a Brazilian modification of the Italian AMX Ghibli designed for various combat roles, including air patrol and ground attack.

This A-1A variant carries a wide variety of weaponry specific to this Brazilian modification. You can equip several unique bombs, including various types of conventional, drag, and napalm bombs. Alongside these, the A-1A can carry six BA-FG-230 Lizard-2 guided bombs, aided by the LITENING II thermal targeting pod. The AMX can prove to be a capable fighter too in the right hands, carrying two MAA-1 Piranha air-to-air missiles, along with a pair of DEFA 30 mm cannons in the nose. It features effective low-speed maneuverability, and its large quantity of chaff and flares will help protect against enemy fighters.

As a versatile strike aircraft, the AMX A-1A is able to deliver literal tons of ordnance on enemy positions and tanks on the ground, while still comfortably filling the fighter role in the air.
