Contents of the Brigador Modkit & Map Editor
- 'BrigadorModkit.zip' - raw files needed to convert your copy of the game into a dev environment (assets folder + dumppack.bat + genpack.bat)
- 'Modkit_CommunityCompilation_v2.zip' - collection of mods and maps produced by the Brigador community
- 'global alts' folder - alternate global.json files for the community compilation for linux & mac
- 'TiledMapEditor_Installer' - for making maps
- 'SpritePacker' folder - tools for creating sprites in the game
- 'namingguide.txt' - naming scheme instructions for sprites
- 'readme.txt' - quick installation instructions
- 'attributions.txt' - credits
If the DLC does not download and instead launches the game, please go to Library > Right click "Brigador" > Properties... > DLC and make sure the Modkit & Map Editor DLC is checked. The download should begin when you do.
Please note that although this is categorized as "DLC", you will need to manually extract and overwrite the files which have been downloaded to a new subfolder where Brigador is on your computer (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brigador\modkit). Details on how to do this can be found in the readme.txt in that new folder, or in the quick reference at the side.
